Cadence Cambodia Update
“… as the Father has sent Me, I am sending you.” (John 20:21)
My name is Sareth, I am marriage to Sopha Pat. We have two daughters, 9 and 6 years old. I have been serving and ministering to the armed forces of Cambodia for more than 17 years. My ministry activities focus on discipleship, Bible studies, and leadership training. Additionally, I serve on the leadership board of our newly established non-profit “Organization Cadence”.
Cadence Cambodia is a ministry of discipleship to men and women in the armed forces of Cambodia. Our strategy is to establish relationships with military leaders, pastors, and Christian soldiers to seek opportunities to serve armed forces families. We are able to share the gospel and the love of Christ by providing discipleship, fellowship, education and employment to the armed forces families throughout Cambodia.
We are currently leading multiple Bible studies, a school for the children of military families, a newly established Christian library on a military base, and a sewing center. Cadence Cambodia supports and is in partnership with; Lightbridge International’s children’s school and food programs, 3Seams sewing centers providing discipleship and employment to women, and the Girl’s House of Refuge serving young women through housing, education, fellowship, and job skills.
Our ministry is solely supported by private donations and we currently do not have enough monthly financial support to meet the needs of our projects. Please pray that more supporters will join our team to help execute the Great Commission to the Cambodian armed forces. Please pray for the soldiers and their families to grow in their faith and walk closely with Jesus Christ.
